“At the editor’s desk, Greg Orlandini.” Greg Orlandini is the midday editor for KYW Newsradio 1060, shaping the coverage that you hear on the air weekdays from mid-morning until dinnertime.

As a lifelong soccer fan, Greg is also host and producer of “The Philly Soccer Show” podcast. Before becoming day editor at Newsradio, Greg was morning writer and associate editor. And before that he helped start the groundbreaking, highly successful, and Emmy-nominated television broadcast “KYW Newsradio This Morning on UPN 57.” He served as writer and then producer.

Greg got his start in the business with public broadcasting stations WHYY-FM and TV, first as a volunteer and then as a staffer during the 2000 Republican Convention. During his stay with WHYY, Greg was a reporter, newswriter, associate director for “Delaware Tonight” and associate producer on several TV projects. While there he covered everything from transportation to City Hall to New Jersey politics. He is most proud of the reporting he did for the station during the 2001 Summer “X Games.” Later in 2001, Greg joined the KYW Newsradio family as a desk assistant. Greg has also worked for the Wall Street Journal Radio network, as well as Linwood, NJ stations WUSS and WOND, producing live shows and the Phillies broadcasts for the Jersey shore affiliates.

In his free time, Greg enjoys reading, is an amateur bass guitarist (“very amateur,” in his words), likes to cook, and roots for all the Philadelphia sports teams.  He grew up in Hammonton, Atlantic County and currently lives Camden County.
