Dennis Edward is the Newsroom Operations Coordinator for KYW Newsradio.

 

Edward is Philadelphia native and graduate of Temple University. He joined KYW Newsradio in 2000 as a desk assistant and quickly rose to his current position.

 

In his role of Newsroom Operations Coordinator Edward helps make sure everything runs smoothly in the newsroom. This includes running the school closing system for KYW Newsradio and CBS 3 Eyewitness News. Edward also helps coordinate the KYW Newstudies Program. He will be your main contact if you have any questions or issues.

 

One of Edward's proudest moments at KYW Newsradio is when he was part of the broadcast team that won the 2010 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for coverage of the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship.

 

Edward says his favorite part of Newstudies is when he is in the studio recording the students and helping them put the finishing touches on their final project.
