HADAS KUZNITS
Newstudies Instructor
Hadas Kuznits has been as a news writer/reporter for KYW Newsradio since September 2002, and has traveled the city — and the world — while covering stories for Newsradio.

She is also the host of KYW Newsradio’s podcast “What’s Cooking” — covering stories related to food, restaurants, and dining out in and around Philadelphia.
In May 2008, Kuznits reported from the Middle East during the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel, providing on-air reports, photos, and video blogs.

And in August of that year, she was in Denver, Colo., to cover the Democratic National Convention and the historic nomination of Barack Obama for president, where she once again provided on-air reports, photos, and more video blogs.
Kuznits is a graduate of Temple University’s school of communications. She began her broadcasting career as an afternoon reporter and anchor at WZOE in Princeton, Ill., where she picked up a Silver Dome award for feature reporting.
Two years later, she moved to WTTN in Watertown, Wisc., where she anchored news, reported, and hosted an afternoon community talk program.

Before entering Temple University, Kuznits spent two years in the Israeli army, where she served as an instructor. She also spent some time traveling and working as a tour guide in Europe and Israel.

She grew up in Montgomery County, Pa. and graduated from Akiba Hebrew Academy in Lower Merion.

Hadas loves to dance, and in her free time she teaches hip-hop and weight-lifting classes in center city. She also teaches occasional classes in broadcasting as an adjunct professor at Temple University.
